Specular Alpha System is a Metin2 graphics enhancement feature that allows fine-tuned control over specular lighting effects for mobs and NPCs. The system enables developers to adjust alpha and specular intensity dynamically based on specific race IDs (VNUMs), improving visual quality and rendering consistency.


Implemented in C++, this system integrates directly into the actor rendering pipeline through SetShape modifications. It provides customizable lighting behavior for NPCs, stones, and selected entities, allowing different visual styles such as reduced glare or enhanced glow effects.

This solution is designed for Metin2 serverfiles and client sources, offering improved graphical control and better optimization for custom models and textures using alpha-enabled DDS assets.
